25 May 2016
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
VENUE: International Convention Centre (ICC), Birmingham
Co-chaired by Mr Larry Benjamin and Mrs Stephanie Hartley
The day is designed to be of interest and use to the whole ophthalmic team, combining the very latest thinking about issues in ophthalmology with practical applications for excellence in service delivery.
Two College presidents, Professor Carrie MacEwen from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and Mr David Parkins from the College of Optometrists will cover different aspects of multi-professional collaboration. A clinical theme of ophthalmic imaging considers developments in this area, along with key, clinical pearls about how to get the best possible images and make decisions about care and treatment based upon these. Along with renowned experts in their fields, we consider developments in other areas of ophthalmology including issues such as ROP, as well as the use of therapeutic contact lenses.
