Guide Dogs sensory fun run taking place at Glasgow Green on Saturday 21 September. Guide Dogs Logo

Participants will not only be helping change the lives of people living with sight loss in the UK but they will also be keeping this local green space on the map for future generations to enjoy.

It’s going to be a big event this year, with a confirmed 700 people attending already!
Guide dogs Use your senses 5K fun run medals
Use Your Senses are really exciting, immersive, family friendly fun runs for all abilities and ages, with 5 sensory experiences around the course and the option of a 5K or 2.5k route. Walk, jog, run or hop round the route!

The 5 sensory experiences along the route include:
• scented bubbles (smell)
• live music (listen)
• foam cannons (touch)
• colour paint zone (sight)
• delicious treats (taste)

There is an Event Hub with face painting, balloon modelling, meet the dogs, music, scented bubbles, craft stalls and drawing & glitter station, food & drink, so family and friends not wanting to participate in the route can have lots of fun in the hub too.

Guide dogs can take part in the run at the owners own risk, due to health & safety aspects concerning the foam, powder paint etc, and we have many runners taking part with their Guide Runners. In fact the lead runner for another of our events in Manchester was partially sighted and ran with his Guide, setting a fantastic PB.

This is a free event, we simply encourage fundraising or a donation of £25 per person.
