Happy World Sight Day! As ever, the IAPB  bring you a selection of events and activities fromPicture shows a young girl smiling with the logo Eye Care Everywhere and #Worldsightday across the IAPB membership—pop songs(!), mascots, hashtags—as we mark the day. It’s a been a year since the IAPB Vision Atlas went live: we have some updates; and we end with WSD messages from our staff. We recorded over 600 events last year—help us hit a 1000! Write to us with your WSD plans/pictures/reports or upload them on this form.

The IAPB Vision Atlas brings together the latest data and evidence on blindness and sight IAPB Logoloss, along with commentary on issues and possible solutions. Last year, the Atlas underscored the threats to our efforts. This year, the IAPB have updated the Global Action Plan indicator data—national planning information, current national plans, CSR/CSC and more. It’s a great tool—do check it out. The International Coalition for Trachoma Control (ICTC) have helped us update Trachoma data and key messages on the Atlas. So, the Atlas is again a ready-reckoner on the latest trachoma data. Finally, a powerful way to tackling the onslaught of Myopia is school screening programmes—what is the most effective way to run them?

Today is the last day to share your photos for the #EyeCareEverywhere photo competition. Your photos are an incredible resource for the sector – they help us get #EyeCareEverywhere. The latest WHO bulletin cover photo, for example, is one of our World Health Organisation Logophotos.

Finally, the IAPB Membership Map features IAPB members and their operations from around the world. It is a live map to help find friends, share resources and make the most of our alliance. Do take a look!
