This Special Collection highlights the burning questions, challenges and successes in global Sage Journals Logo ophthalmology and eye health.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Trachoma and other corneal opacities
Parasitic, bacterial, viral and fungal eye infections   Vision UK Logo
Ocular characteristics of people with albinism, such as unreported trends or regions
Retinal diseases
Teleophthalmology: mobile screening, diagnostics and eye care
Preventing blindness and vision loss in children
Provision of low vision services
Novel therapeutic targets, devices, pharmacological and cell therapies

Following initial triage, suitable manuscripts submitted to this Special Collection will undergo external peer review.

As an introductory offer, the journal is free to publish in until 31 December 2018.
