What is The Visual Impairment Network for Children and Young People (VINCYP)

This network was designated in April 2014 and aims to improve the care for children and VINCYP Logoyoung people with a visual impairment. VINCYP involves professionals working in health, education and social work, parents/carers of children and young people with a visual impairment and voluntary sector organisations.

Following changes to registration in Scotland the VINCYP pathway is now Scotland’s notification system for children under the age of 16.

VINCYP will be represented on the Vision UK Children and Young People Committee by Anne Marie Fleming, Education and CYPF Lead, RNIB Scotland.
